FG approves resumption of flights
The Federal Government on Monday, has approved the resumption of domestic flights in the country.
It has also lifted the restriction placed on interstate travels with effect from July 1, 2020, provided such journeys are not made within curfew hours.
The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, disclosed this at the ongoing daily briefing of the task force in Abuja on Monday.
Mustapha, who is also the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, disclosed that the latest developments were contained in the task force’s fifth interim report which was submitted to the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), earlier in the day.
Also, the task force boss said finalist students, that is pri 6, jss3, ss3 students will be allowed to go back to school to prepare for their examinations.
He also said the restrictions placed on inter state movement have been lifted, providing that travels are not made during curfew hours.
